Blueberry Kush: Full-Bodied and Fast-Acting

Blueberry Kush Hybrid (what's this?)

Blueberry Kush (or Kushberry) is the perfect blend of Blueberry and OG Kush. The Blueberry comes from the state of Oregon and recently won the 2000 High Times Cannabis Cup. Nobody knows for sure where OG Kush comes from, but the most plausible lineage links to it being a phenotype of Chemdawg. Together, they create a combination worthy of an award on its’ own.

“Blueberry Kush is a very heavy hitting Hybrid typically used by patients as a natural pain-reliever, appetite-booster, and sleep-aid.”

Blueberry Kush is considered one of the strongest medicinal strains available. Known to have a unrivaled flavor that is only matched by its potency. Typically used by patients as a strong, natural pain reliever, appetite booster, and sleep-aid. As with most Indica-dominant strains, Blueberry Kush tends to mainly affect the body, producing a significant body-melt that will creep up on you fast.

Falling In Love With Its Blueberry Aroma

There is a overwhelming blueberry aroma and taste that is undeniably delicious. Blueberry Kush is just one of those medical marijuana strains that will always have you excited for the next hit of blueberries and lemon zest smoke. Great medicine to roll up in a fat joint to end the night in a strong body buzz that seems to really lock you in your seat.

The batch of Blueberry Kush we received was not visually stunning or anything that memorable. If you are expecting a big blue batch of marijuana, this strain might throw you for a loop. In fact, the dispensary we got this strain from actually sells their medical marijuana in pouches (nicer baggies) that unfortunately do a bad job protecting the buds structure. Although some of the buds in the batch were squished, this didn’t seem to affect the smoke session in any way. It’s just a shame to see such high quality buds treated like that.

Blueberry Kush Not That Easy To Locate In CA

Blueberry Kush is not as prevalent in California as GDP, Louie XIII, or some other popular OG phenotypes, but it is still easily accessible for patients who seek it. Hopefully Blueberry Kush will be more widely available in the near future as more and more patients seek the strain for its strong medicinal qualities and attractive aroma.

With flowering time of just 6-10 weeks and typically producing a fairly decent yield, this should be one medical marijuana strain that growers consider adding to their next grow cycle.
