Red Congolese: Focused and Clear-Headed

Red Congolese and its Sativa genetics can be traced to the mix of Afghani and Mexican strains. Upon opening the container, Red Congolese looks like it is going to be an amazing smoke session. The shiny trichomes and red shade make this Sativa strain look some tasty medication.

Red Congolese genetics are purely sativa. This batch seemed to have that hazy head effect we love so much out of our Sativa-based medicine.

The wild dark orange hairs that cover the flowers made it stick out from the rest of the strains we have reviewed. It’s obvious where this strains name comes from.

We weren’t blown away by the smell of Red Congolese by any means. The taste also left more to be desired, although it did leave the typical haze (musky, honey, wood) taste on your palette for some time.

The effects were extremely clearheaded and made it very easy to focus on any specific task. We love thinking stains like this and wouldn’t be opposed to having it again, though it wouldn’t be our favorite by any means. Its probably best that patients use Red Congolese as a morning strain; perfect with a glass of orange juice and a bowl to gather your thoughts for the day.
