The Ingrid Strain: A Unique, Cheesy Hybrid

Ingrid Hybrid (what's this?)

The Ingrid strain is a somewhat rare hybrid that can be found in California. It is known for its distinct cheesy aroma and powerful effects.

The Ingrid Cannabis Strain: UK Cheese X Hash Plant

The San Fernando Valley (SFV) is best known for its prevalence of OG strains. However, this batch of Ingrid was a welcomed change of pace.

I came across this batch of The Ingrid strain on my latest trip to SFVDM in Van Nuys, CA. I’d never come across it in the past and I was immediately intrigued by the overpowering cheesy aroma.

After some reseach, I settled on the conclusion that the Ingrid strain is a cross of the UK Cheese and Hash Plant. With that in mind, I expected to experience the kind of heavier body high that people associate with Indicas.

However, my budtender informed me that this was the best Sativa strain on the shelf. Naturally I had to try it for myself.

How Might The Ingrid Marijuana Strain Affect Me?

This batch of the Ingrid strain had one of the most pungent aromas that I’ve come across in California. The scent of cheese filled the room as soon as I popped the top of my container, and undertones of berry followed shortly after.

“The effects of medicating with this strain started to set in almost instantly.”

The effects of medicating with this strain started to set in almost instantly. I began to sense a relaxing buzzing sensation in my mind – I found this quite useful in treating a migraine. My energy level began to climb very quickly also.

That being said, I experienced a noticeable crash when the effects of the Ingrid strain began to fade. My limbs became heavy and I had a considerable bout with couchlock.

Overall, I would say that the Ingrid strain is a great option for stress and anxiety relief later in the day. It may also be beneficial for patients who suffer from PTSD, OCD, lupus-related pain, depression, and more.
