Cherry AK Super Bud Covered in Oil and Kief

Here is something you may have not have come across yet, especially if you are outside of a marijuana-friendly state. You would be correct to expect something more than your typical gram of top-shelf cannabis, with a donation ranging from $30-$60/gram. Rightly so, this Cherry AK Super Bud is first dipped into hemp oil, and then rolled in kief.

“The bud… the hemp oil… and the kief, each stem from the same Cherry AK strain.”

For those who don’t know, “kief” is just the term used to describe a pile of trichomes that break off of the marijuana plant. These trichomes, usually tan in shade instead of clear (from age degradation), are found in the form of powder, typically collected in the bottom of grinders.

Kief is a very potent substance with high doses of cannabinoids, typically used to top off bowls. Rarely is kief used as a primary source of medicating (e.g. people do not typically fill an entire bowl or joint of kief).

However, to coat the buds in kief, the cannabis must first be dipped in hemp oil. This will naturally make the bud wet and sticky. Additionally, it is worth noting that this hemp oil is one of the most potent substances and has a ton of medicinal value.

You should do your best not to handle this with your hands, as you will most likely end up with really messy fingers and wasted oil. Ideally, it would make most sense to vaporize smaller chunks of this Cherry AK Super Bud, and then break it up to continue smoking the interior sections that were not vaped.

What To Expect From A Cherry AK Super Bud

I was expecting a much sweeter aroma, similar to the standard Cherry AK plant. Instead, this Cherry AK Super Bud smells and tastes rich, peppery/spicy, with undertones of sweet cherry pie. It was a pleasant surprise, because I could instantly tell that this was strong stuff.

Also, because this is covered in concentrates, the buds will continue to stay lit and tend to burn fast. The smoke is thick and heavy if medicating out of a bowl or bong. It will definitely make you cough. A lot. This is one of the main reasons I prefer to vaporize all concentrates; to avoid the cough and harshness that is generated from the heat of each hit. Nonetheless, the Cherry AK Super Bud is fast-acting, highly cerebral, and very-much sativa (predominately affects the mind). Definitely worth trying once.

This Cherry AK Super Bud is available to valid medical marijuana patients from Green Dot in San Diego, CA.
