Based in Los Angeles, Green Gold Baking Co. is a relatively young infused edible company. The company launched in July of last year, and secured funding shortly after to help establish the brand.
At it’s heart, Green Gold is rooted in its belief that low dose edibles the way to go. In fact, the three most potent products on their menu each clock-in at 55 milligrams of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

The Green Gold product line consists of cookies, a granola bar, and a line of gluten-free crackers. While they are on the lower end of the spectrum as far as potency is concerned, Lograsso contends that they more than make up for it in the taste department.
Parmesan “Herb” Cracker: A Gluten-Free, Artisan-Style Snack
This was my first time coming across a product from Green Gold Baking Co., and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I reviewed a batch of Auntie Dolores‘ incredibly potent Medicated Cheese Crackers a few weeks ago, but this seemed to be a different experience entirely.
In talking with Lograsso, I learned that Green Gold Baking Co. aims to have to an artisan quality with each of their infused edibles. It’s for this reason that their crackers take on a slightly-more rugged look compared to that of other crackers on the market. The ingredients for the Parmesan Herb Crackers are listed as follows:
- Cannabis Oil
- Gluten Free Flour
- Flax Seed Meal
- Fresh Rosemary
- Baking Powder
- Black Pepper
- Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese
- Celtic Sea Salt
How Will The Parmesan “Herb” Cracker Affect Me?
The taste of the Parmesan “Herb” Cracker can be best described as flax seed with a hint of rosemary and parmesan cheese. To be honest, I found myself wishing that the flavor was a bit more bold – it would be nearly impossible to know that the crackers contained cannabis if I didn’t know any better… I’ll let you decide if that’s a good thing.
Each Green Gold product is lab tested by The Werc Shop in Southern California. According to them, each Parmesan “Herb” Cracker contains 30 milligrams of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
For comparison, each individual cracker in a pack of Auntie Dolores’ Medicate Cheese Crackers contains 25 milligrams of THC. Seeing as there are more than 20 crackers in each package, there is quite a big difference in the amount of cannabis being delivered between the two options.
With this in mind, I would consider the Parmesan “Herb” Cracker to be a great a pre-dinner appetizer. About 20 minutes after eating the cracker, I noticed that I was incredibly hungry. This was particularly noteworthy, considering the fact that I had eaten lunch just 3 hours earlier.

I did not personally experience the sort of body buzz that I would expect from an infused edible, which is likely due to the low dosage of THC. However, it did seem to help raise my mood – a common occurence when I eat small-dose edibles.
For this reason, I would expect the Parmesan “Herb” Cracker to be a great option for patients with a low tolerance for infused edibles.
Further, I would consider it to be a solid option as an appetizer at a party paired with cheese. Not only would it offer a snack for guests to enjoy, but I found the Parmesan “Herb” Cracker to help relieve my anxiety and stimulate my appetite.
