Blue Cheese Strain: Blueberry and Cheese
Blue Cheese genetics can be linked to a cross between two classic cannabis strains: Blueberry and Cheese. The buds are small in size, super soft, and covered in sticky trichomes. Beautiful weed that boasts dark and light shades of green that are covered by sandy orange hairs.
Blue Cheese is considered to be a great strain for staying social as it will give you energy, make you giggly, and improve your spirits.
Blue Cheese has a scent that is reminiscent of pungent fruit — similar to a batch of sour blueberries. The smoke and taste are slightly different; there is a sweet blueberry flavor with every inhale and noticeable musky notes that are typical of the original cheese strain with each exhale.
Generally speaking, the Blue Cheese strain is often considered to be a great strain for staying social as it tends to give you energy, make you giggly, and improve your spirits. In my case, Blue Cheese did its job in relieving stress and feelings of anxiety. It also provided me with a nice head buzz that didn’t leave me feeling tired or lazy.
Although the effects from Blue Cheese can be a bit euphoric and even spacey at times (especially when consuming large quantities), I found this batch took around 5-15 minutes for the strain to reach maximum effect — making it a “creeper.” Having said that, these Blue Cheese buds are definitely not the most potent batch I have come across… so your experience could (and most likely will) be different.
