Famous Strains Combine Forces: Girl Scout Cookies + OG Kush
A lot of medical marijuana dispensaries will claim to have ‘the Cookies’ — in which they are referring to having the legitimate Girl Scout Cookies strain. Although the Fortune Cookies strain is extremely similar, there are a few tiny genetic differences that have given it a slightly different terpene profile and list of effects than the classic Girl Scout Cookies cut everyone is currently going crazy for.
“When harvested and cured correctly, it is not uncommon to see the Fortune Cookies labeled as a top-shelf strain, flying off the dispensary shelves.”
As you may assume from its genetics, Fortune Cookies is reminiscent very much similar to Girl Scout Cookies, with a slight twist (courtesy of OG Kush). Each pull from my VapeXhale vaporizer produces a strong flavor profile of thin-mint, grapefruit, and lemon pine.
When harvested and cured correctly, it is not uncommon to see the Fortune Cookies labeled as a top-shelf strain, flying off the dispensary shelves. After all, Fortune Cookies doesn’t just taste good… it is also known for testing with high amounts of THC, a cannabinoid in marijuana known for its many medicinal qualities.
How Does Fortune Cookies Affect Me?
Being a hybrid strain of cannabis, Fortune Cookies is known to produce a wide-range of effects, depending on the patient, scenario, dosage, and intake method. As such, it is hard to pin-point exactly what effects Fortune Cookies may be beneficial for. Having said that, I found the Fortune Cookies strain to be stellar for managing stress and achieving healthy sleeping patterns. I also found the strain to be beneficial in boosting my appetite and creative process. The only negative effect I experienced was a little bit of dry mouth, but a glass of water was enough to save the day.
All in all, I believe its soothing, thought-provoking effects coupled with its unique terpene profile, is what makes Fortune Cookies a favorite strain among many medical marijuana patients. I know when I see this strain on the shelves, I take the time to check it out and would recommend you do the same.
