The 2013 Hightimes Medical Cannabis Cup Comes To Los Angeles This February *New Location*

The High Times Medical Cannabis Cup is coming back to Los Angeles this year on February 16th & 17th.

The two-day expo will feature a patient-only medicating area (18 years and older), seminars on growing, and activism presentations from some of the MVP’s of the cannabis industry.

In addition, musical guests The Game and Redman will be performing during the Saturday night VIP concert. The awards ceremony will be held Sunday, and will crown the best Sativa, Indica, Hybrid, Concentrate, and Edible in California.

Anyone may attend the event, however only California residents with valid medical marijuana recommendations may enter the medicating area (medical professionals will be available on site). Although no cannabis will be sold or given out at the event, all ticket holders will be provided with a list of strains, edibles, and concentrates that have been entered into competition by California dispensaries.

You will receive the list one week prior to the event, giving you a little bit of time to find the entries in your area (this is a bit short notice if you ask us).

The medicating area is BYOB (Bring-Your-Own-Bud), but will feature tons of vendors where you will be able to sample the top notch products Cali has to offer. The awards will be based on extensive sampling by expert judges, and the winners will be announced Sunday at the awards ceremony. Also during the Sunday show, High Times will be presenting Tommy Chong with the Marijuana Lifetime Achievement Award.

The cup has changed locations! The new cup will be held at Glendale Studios: 1239 S. Glendale, Glendale, CA 91205.
