Cannabis Access Alliance – Reducing Barriers and Empowering Patients!
The Cannabis Access Alliance believes patients who choose to use cannabis as a means to treat their conditions, should be able to access medication as easily as traditional prescription drugs.
Often times, patient in pain, who suffer from physical disabilities and those with little to no financial resources are left in the lurches. So close, yet so far away is how it feels to finally find relief from pain or improved functioning, yet the high cost of Dr. evaluations, state processing fees, the cost of medication as well as transportation to secure these needs.
That’s where the Cannabis Access Alliance comes in. It’s our mission to help reduce and eliminate the barriers for patients seeking to continue their cannabis medication regimen or those who are looking to see if cannabis might work for them for the first time.
My journey started with my I work at the High Times Cannabis Cups several years ago. I was a long time deliver in the healing properties of Cannabis, but though the cups and getting to know the attendees, vendors and community in general, I began to fall in love with all things Cannabis. I am opening a unique smoke shop in October 2015. Our focus is on patient education and matching mmj patients with the best medicating solution for their needs. Parents 4 Pot
Parents-4-Pot is a dedicated voice for all families who support the end of hemp and cannabis prohibition. The organization strives to defeat the social stigma surrounding adults who use cannabis responsibly. They support a parent’s choice to use medical cannabis to treat their children’s illnesses. Parents-4-Pot helps families with cannabis related issues through education, direct action and organizational support.
National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA)
Founded in 2010, The National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA) is a trade organization for the cannabis industry. It serves to provide canna-businesses with a voice in Washington, D.C. The NCIA is led by industry leaders with the intent to speak for the needs of the rapidly-growing cannabis industry. Additionally, they allow members to choose who will serve on the board of directors with annual elections.
Multidisciplinary Association for Psychadelic Studies (MAPS)
