Norton Arbelaez is an entrepreneur and attorney who has been heavily involved with Colorado’s medical cannabis industry since its inception 2009. He is the founder of the Medical Marijuana Industry Group; and is a principal in one of Colorado’s largest medical cannabis companies, RiverRock.
Arbelaez holds a seat on the Colorado Department of Revenue’s Medical Marijuana Advisory Board, the City of Denver’s Medical Marijuana Workgroup, and Governor Hickenlooper’s Amendment 64 Regulatory Workgroup.

Over the last two years River Rock has actively contributed to the development of Colorado’s medical marijuana regulatory framework, although they are a highly controversial company in the cannabis industry. The company holds a seat on the Colorado Department of Revenue’s Medical Marijuana Advisory Committee, and is a founding member of the non-profit trade association the Medical Marijuana Industry Group.
