Medicated Granddaddy Purple Soda Review
These cannabis-infused sodas from Kushtown come in a variety of flavors including Grandaddy Purple, Strawberry Cough, Micheal Phelps Pineapple, Orange Crush, and many more listed on their website. They are sold by Point Loma in San Diego for $12/soda, which I feel is a bit on the expensive side for just 1 drink… but still worth the investment if you want to give one of these a try.
“The taste is almost identical to the standard Grape soda I grew up with. It literally has no cannabis taste or smell.”
Some of the main ingredients include concentrated THC oil, high fructose corn syrup, purified carbonated water, and natural grape flavoring. It really does taste just like a regular Grape soda; it would be easy to medicate with these if you are already a fan of grape soda. Being a liquid, the effects tend to hit patients extremely fast, making this an attractive medicating option for many.
Patients may experience a quick buzz that is felt mostly in the mind after just a few swigs. As you drink more and more of the bottle of the GDP soda, you’ll feel the buzz begin to spread throughout the body. At least for me, it got more and more trippy (exponentially) as I would get closer to finishing the soda. By the time the bottle was empty, I was calm and collected but had the energy to do anything I wanted. This GDP soda created a peaceful state of mind accompanied by an even stronger body buzz that seems to be felt most in my upper back, neck, and jaw.
