SFV OG Kush
- SFV OG
- Afghani Landrace
As you may know by now, I love medicating with OG strains. With that said, the SFV OG Kush strain is one that I am especially partial towards. It gets its name from the “San Fernando Valley” — where it is grown and available to MMJ patients. The SFV OG strain (yes, it’s different) is simply a phenotype of Ghost OG Kush grown in the valley, which explains where it gets its desirable genetics from (the OG).
SFV OG Kush, on the other hand, is the result of crossing SFV OG with an Afghani landrace strain. It was bred by Swerve, the main man behind The Cali Connection.
This particular batch of SFV OG Kush that I came across looked somewhat average from the bag but it definitely has a unique OG smell that is more earthy than other OG strains I medicate with; its sure to have your mouth salivating for the next hit. The fox-tailing in SFV OG is evident, making the traditional popcorn bud shape for most OG strains.
How Will The SFV OG Kush Cannabis Strain Affect Me?
The taste of the medicine was on a completely different level. It covered my taste buds with a piney/earthy scent (typical OG) within seconds. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend using a vaporizer to get the maximum flavor from the terpenoids and appreciate this OG strain to the fullest.
“SFV OG is one of those strains that always has me really excited to reach for the bowl each and every time.”
It was hard not to fall in love with the smooth sugary smoke produced by the SFV OG Kush strain. The effects started to set in almost instantly; first taking over my mind, and then making the limbs throughout my body heavy. The ghost OG in the genetics definitely had me feeling completely care-free, painless, and really seemed to boost my appetite.
SFV OG Kush is popular among patients who want to be able to medicate without feeling completely bogged down like most OG strains make you feel. Pain will be pushed aside in your mind and you’ll be able to go on with your day. SFV OG Kush is known to make those who medicate with it really tired after 2-3 hours, so be sure to schedule in some time for a nap.
