Sour Jack Takes The Mind For a Ride
- Sour Jack
Sour Jack genetics can be traced to the mix of the two classic Sativa-dominant strains: Sour Diesel and Jack Herer. A unique aroma that is much more reminiscent of Jack Herer — very fruity (similar to grapefruit). Although, the smell is most-similar to Durban Poison in my opinion.
“Sour Jack provided lots of good energy with a hazy head-high that lasted for roughly 2-3 LONG hours.”
As you would expect, Sour Jack smokes exactly like Sour Diesel and Jack Herer mixed. A colder smoke infused with lemons, diesel fuel, and tropical undertones. Remember, this strain should have an aroma so strong you will want to spend a minute or two smelling the buds before medicating.
The effects of Sour Jack are very much Sativa. Known to directly affect the mind with absolutely no body fatigue. Usually good for medicating before being active or having to do manual labor. Sour Jack is known to boost your energy levels and make you feel really medicated because your head is so foggy. Considered very uplifting medicine, making this a popular strain among patients suffering from depression or anxiety.
However, Sour Jack is a relatively rare strain. We’ve actually only seen it available once in the last year. Then again, we weren’t really looking for it. Just know it’s not as prevalent as you may think having such desirable genetics. Either way, Sour Jack definitely topped our charts for one of the best smelling Sativa strains we’ve reviewed in awhile. All that coupled with an unmatched, powerful haze-like effect that we find outstanding to start the day.
