Each installment of The Secret Cup has been built on the concept of two separate events. One that is open to the public, and one that is intended for the competitors and VIPs only.
The VIP event is scheduled to take place Friday. According to de Sailles, this will be the first time that the VIP event will take place at a separate venue from the designated Secret House.

James Nettles, who organized the Seattle Secret Cup, explains that Friday’s activities will consist of a BBQ dinner with a rooftop view. Following that up will be a private VIP party hosted by Alex Grey in an artistic banquet hall.
The public event will be held from 2-9 on Saturday at 7 Point Studios. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample each entry during the event while enjoying the abundance of available entertainment – there will be a live glassblowing demonstration from Germ Glass and musical performances from the likes of HighDro, Indica Jones, Tommy 2Stix and more.
In discussing his philosophy for planning the PNW Secret Cup, Nettles says that he wanted to focus on bringing the community together with the sort of attractions that he would personally want to see. “Being an extract artist myself, I wanted to bring everyone together and make sure the scene is portrayed in a good manner,” he explains.
